As many of you can tell if you follow me on Instagram, I am more than slightly obsessed with my little bestie. Being the New Year, I decided I wanted to incorporate her more into my blog as a way of also documenting her as she grows (just as I did when I was pregnant). As she reaches almost 9 months old, I am shocked at how fast time has flown by since she was born. I find myself living in the moments each day with her, but then also realizing how they are so quickly fleeting and I can never get them back. This was last Sunday morning – and what almost every morning looks like for us. They are filled with laughter, slobbery kisses and the best snuggles. I look forward to this time with her so much that some days I wake up and just watch her baby monitor until she is awake.
Things I want to remember of Addi at 8.5 months old: she is nearly ready to crawl – she literally gets up on her knees to go but then collapses to an army crawl when she wants to get something. She is always smiling and scrunching her little nose. She sings along when I do, and loves to say “ra ra ra” while making the cutest lip pout. She gives the most slobbery kisses – ten in a row. She got her first tooth the day after Christmas and will chew on anything and everything.
I want to be in every stage forever as each they come, but then I feel the same about each new one she enters. If motherhood has shown me anything, it is love in the most pure way possible. I hope you’re all having a beautiful week, thanks for reading!
ps. let me know in the comments below what other things you’d like to see on my blog! They can be more baby, fashion, home decor, beauty, hair tutorials – anything, just let me know!
