It’s that time of year when transitioning your wardrobe from winter to spring is becoming more and more necessary! I find this part to be dull, and uninspiring – only because here it is so up and down with the weather and I am constantly switching back and forth between seasons. Don’t let these photos fool you, though it looks bright, sunny and possibly warm (since most of the snow is melted), it definitely wasn’t! The air was crisp, and if I had been planning on being outside longer than snapping blog photos, I would have been wearing a parka! That being said, a trick I try to do to be able to incorporate some of my spring pieces is layering, like above, where I layered a long sleeve top under a thinner knit sweater. I also paired it with white pants – which brightened the whole look and made it fee a little “spring-like”. I am taking what I can get with the weather lately – and so far it’s seeming as though spring could be just around the corner!
On another note – I am in the middle of planning Addi’s first birthday – which is so unbelievably crazy to even say out loud!! I have decided to go with a Vintage Tea Party theme (surprise surprise right??? ha!). Needless to say, my crafting and decorating is at an all time high, and I am loving every minute – while at the same time, I’m in serious denial that what I’m planning the party for is going to be a celebration for my ONE YEAR OLD! Mind blowing. Anyways, those are my thoughts – I could go on but I have some party planning to get back too ;). I hope you’re all having a wonderful week, thanks for stopping by!
