Cropped Sweater (on sale!) | Floral Top c/o | Maternity Jeans | Flats | Hat (similar here)
This layered look is one of my favorites and one I have already worn a few times (yep, repeat offender). When it comes to maternity clothing, I have always been a skeptic. Truly! I managed to only purchase maternity jeans and a couple basic maternity tops from H&M when I was pregnant with Addi and just made everything else work in regular clothes. I swore to never set foot in a maternity store assuming from what I normally saw when I would walk passed the majority of them, that I would dislike the clothing. One experience in a Destination Maternity store has changed my outlook on shopping for maternity items – if you’re looking for stylish, and trendy maternity clothing, Destination Maternity has it all!
They carry such a variety of brands and styles that literally any expecting mama would find something they love in their store. I brought Addi along as well, and they even had a cute little play place for her to hang out and play while I shopped, it was awesome. Some of the items I got could easily be mistaken for non-maternity items – like this floral flowy top (which is similar to one Anthro carried last year) and these distressed skinnies! These are my new staple and I literally cannot stop wearing them. A Pea in the Pod actually takes normal jeans and adds their own signature waistband on them to make them maternity, so you’re really getting the same jeans essentially that you can buy when you’re not pregnant! Anyways, I could go on, but I will be sharing more looks with the pieces I found on my shopping experience at Destination Maternity!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you guys are having a fabulous week!
