A few weeks ago when we were still in the Vancouver area, we decided to explore a cute little town just outside of Langley called Fort Langley. We honestly fell in love! It had so much charm and I literally wanted to find a house there that minute. Addi was in heaven exploring and going up to each dog that walked by petting it and watching the tractors aka “trucks” as she calls them as they worked – she is such a curious little lady!
I am seriously loving this age. She is 18 months today, and has the best personality. She says mama, dada, nana, papa, truck, duck, wow, hi, bye, hot, hey and her newest word is baby! She knows the sounds for horses, dogs, cats, cows, owls, ducks and birds – and literally does them all day long. I am so obsessed with how she plays lately, especially with her little baby dolls – tending them so cute with soothers, bottles, and she tucks them in her buggy with a blanket and pushes them around, melts my heart that she is going to be the best big sister to her baby brother! The best part lately is how she will be in the middle of playing, and will stop and look over at me and blow a kiss and does this scrunchy smile. Or she even comes over to me and just leans in to kiss my leg and gives a snuggle! She is the sweetest little thing!
Anyways, that’s a sappy paragraph on a little update on our sweet girl! Back to this look though! I love fall because there’s always a wide range of warm days and cooler ones as we transition into winter! This duster (which isn’t online – but I love this one too), is the perfect piece for this time of year. It’s not too thin that it makes you freeze your buns off and it keeps you warm for those in between days! Also, being 29 weeks pregnant – the hot flashes have come on heavy these days, so it’s nice to be able to take advantage of this season and layers. I live in basic tops like this striped one that fit the bump and can go with everything!
