When dressing the bump for a fancier occasion, it can be challenging! These days I am reaching for my cute Anthro sweats and cozy loungewear more than anything, but those definitely are not appropriate for outings. This gorgeous dress from Isabella Oliver literally felt like heaven to wear with its jersey material – it stretched right over that big ol’ bump of mine! I felt like a million bucks on this last minute day date I had with Joel right before we went into a crazy packing and moving frenzy! You can see the snow in the background, which I have to say I am not really missing at all now living here in BC.
Addi has been loving the rain and staying at Nana and Papa’s. Literally she hot tubs, and oo’s and ah’s over all of my mom’s amazing Christmas decor and lights. We are getting closer and closer to getting into our new house and have been going there lots to measure for some new furniture.. it feels surreal. So much happening at once, but I am just trying to take it all in and relax a bit before baby boy comes – which apparently is going to be sooner than later according to my doc, eek! I am enjoying every precious moment with Addi before she gets a sibling and appreciating all the cute things she’s been doing lately like saying “I love youuuuu!” and counting “one, twoooo, feeeeee!”. It’s weird how in the last couple of months she soaks up every little thing we say and do, she really isn’t our little baby anymore (I may or may not be tearing up right now..).
Anyways! I hope this look can inspire a little holiday glam for any expecting mama who may not be feeling up for getting dressed up and going out! This statement silhouette is the perfect way to show off that growing bump and can totally been worn casual with flats and a cute sweater for a more laid back look.
Thanks for stopping by!
