When it comes to choosing which toys get to stay in our home – I have been more particular than ever. Last month, before the Christmas chaos, I decided to go through the kids’ playroom and I had a sorting system going to clear out some of the toys that I felt weren’t being played with or that weren’t serving any use in our home. One thing that I kept coming back to – was what does this toy do for my children? It seems like a funny question, but with the amount of education and learning tools that can be done through natural playtime and toys, I felt it was a vital component to whether or not I would keep a toy.
Toys such as the Fisher-Price® Laugh & Learn® Servin’ up Fun Food Truck is a favorite for both Addilyn and Beckett. They play so well in there together – and it is so interactive. It teaches counting, vocabulary, and various songs and phrases. Addilyn usually is the lady behind the truck while Beckett is being served the food. I love a toy that they can play with together – and share easily!
Another one of their favorites is the Fisher-Price® Think & Learn Teach ‘n Tag Movi™ – which is a little robot that gets kids up and moving. This is a little advanced for Beckett, but he watches Addilyn interact and play with it – and it teaches shapes and critical thinking skills. I’m pretty sure Beckett thinks it’s alive haha!
At the end of the day, I feel as though between birthdays, Christmas, and just a nana and papa who love to spoil my babies, my kids do receive a lot of toys. But, what I love about Fisher-Price toys is the ability to increase learning and growing during playtime!
Thanks for stopping by! Xx
