In the last few months, Addilyn and Beckett are both now gaining at little more understanding on how to be helpers around our home! Addilyn is obsessed with making her bed each morning, carrying her shoes to the back closet to put away when we get home, and taking her dish to the sink after she is done eating! She also has had an increasing interest in cooking and baking with me in the kitchen which has made me so incredibly happy. I too am learning how to teach both of my kids at a younger age how they can help around the house – even being two and four years old! It is toys like the Laugh & Learn® Smart Learning Home™, that encourages role playing like cooking in the kitchen, or “working” in the office. Addilyn loves helping Beckett figure out shapes, colors along with numbers and counting – it is a toy that brings them together!
They both also love the Little People® Big Helpers™ Home which brings out their imaginative play! This can keep them busy for hours together – I usually laugh listening to their little bantering, creating stories and playing “mommy” and “daddy” with their characters. I often hear Addilyn chatting about “making dinner” and telling Beckett’s little character to “wash your hands”. She’s going to make a good mama one day, that’s for sure! This home has the cutest pieces and has so many fun buttons for phrases that encourage kids to help around the house, tend the puppy dog and share some healthy habits too. It is the best that they’re playing with toys that are reiterating the messages and lessons I am trying to instil in them as well!
These are the kinds of toys I like having in my home – and with Christmas around the corner, they’re such a wonderful gift idea for any little one!
